A recent event in Cagayan de Oro City saw the delivery of P286 million worth of assistance and government services and programs to beneficiaries, according to House of Representatives Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez. The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) held in the city benefited around 30,000 individuals over two days. Romualdez highlighted that the BPSF is part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s vision to bring services closer to the people, with plans to extend the initiative to other provinces in Mindanao. The assistance provided during the fair included P180 million in cash aid, distribution of 200,000 kilograms of rice, and the launch of programs like SIBOL and ISIP for the Youth. Romualdez emphasized the government’s commitment to directly benefitting citizens through these initiatives.
