2nd Annual Philippine Game Development Expo Set to Return

The Philippine Game Development Expo (PGDX) is set to make its return from June 26-28 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, aiming to provide an unparalleled gaming experience. The event is organized by the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) and CBZN Perspective, with Smart Communications as the main presenter.

Debuting last year, PGDX brought together industry players and developers for a celebration of gaming. The previous expo saw independent game developers making a mark on various game investors, both locally and internationally. This year, PGDX hopes to replicate that success.

The upcoming PGDX will feature gaming workshops, panels, a showcase of technologies and new games, and opportunities for emerging game developers to network with industry professionals. The Indie Game Stars will also return, with 85 indie game developers—both local and foreign—presenting their games to attendees.

Tickets for the event can be purchased through the Expo’s official website, offering Workshop Passes for access to workshops and the event floor, as well as Expo Passes for those interested in exploring the floor.
