An investigation led by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian and officials from the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOOC) revealed possible connections between Bamban Mayor Guo and a POGO hub in Porac, Pampanga. The senator stated that individuals seen at the POGO hub were also connected to Mayor Guo.
During the ocular inspection at Lucky South 99 POGO hub, Gatchalian and the media witnessed evidence of torture, prostitution, and even found a passport. They also discovered a building suspected of housing employees and another containing a KTV bar where prostitution was believed to be taking place.
The investigation indicated that the Bamban and Porac POGO hubs could be linked, as they were both constructed between 2019 and 2022. PAOOC spokesman Winston Casio revealed that documents suggest Mayor Guo’s involvement in scam farms raided by authorities and that additional charges are being prepared against her under Republic Act 9208 for qualified human trafficking.
Casio also mentioned other individuals of interest, including Catherine Cassandra Lee Ong and Zhang Jie, a POGO manager intercepted at Davao International Airport. The PAOOC is monitoring several persons of interest, including the Guo family and their associates, to prevent their departure from the Philippines.
