The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will reopen the reception of those who want to register to vote in the next election.
In the Comelec announcement, starting December 12 new voters can register at all Election Offices and satellite offices. The Comelec has scheduled registration from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 31, 2023.
Comelec will also test Comelec’s Register Anywhere, located in five malls in the National Capital Region. Comelec’s Register Anywhere is a new way for the commission to encourage new voters to register, where it is up to them to send information to the place where an applicant will vote.
