Bicolanos Flock to Bicol Loco Festival for Three-Day Event
Over 500,000 attendees from the Bicol Region and beyond gathered at the Bicol Loco Festival last weekend to enjoy a variety of activities, including hot-air balloons, aerobatics, skydiving events, drone shows, concerts, and raffles. The crowd was treated to performances by Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Jericho Rosales, and Ely Buendia, who electrified the audience with their hit songs.
Robi Domingo served as the event host and was well-received by the appreciative crowd. Sarah and Bamboo’s duet on Sarah’s hit song “Tala” was one of the highlights of the first concert night, while Jericho Rosales, a Bicol native, brought pride to the region with his performance.
The festival also featured a surprise appearance by Apl.de.ap, who jammed with Bamboo and Sarah to the delight of the crowd. Jericho Rosales headlined the second night alongside Ely Buendia, creating waves of nostalgia as the audience sang along to their popular hits.
The event also included a raffle where four grand prize winners each won a house and lot unit worth P1.5 million, bringing tears to many eyes. Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Zaldy Co highlighted the success of the festival in promoting unity and creating job opportunities for the people of Bicol.
