Jed Madela to reveal his vulnerable side in upcoming birthday concert

OPM Singer Jed Madela to Hold Intimate Showcase for Birthday Celebration

For his birthday this year, Jed Madela will be treating family, friends, fans, and music enthusiasts to an intimate showcase that allows him to share his story and vulnerable side through a well-crafted lineup of songs.

The Original Pilipino Music (OPM) singer and celebrity-and-talent singing competition judge has named the event “Welcome to My World,” and it is set to take place on July 5 at 8 p.m. at the Music Museum.

In an exclusive interview, Jed shared that the concert is a pre-birthday celebration before he embarks on a concert tour in the United States. He will be performing in New York, L.A., and other cities that will be announced soon.

Initially planning for a small gathering, Jed and his team decided to transform the celebration into a full concert to show gratitude to those who have supported him throughout the years. He aims to continue the celebration of his 20th-anniversary last December at Solaire and chose a more intimate venue this time at the Music Museum.

The upcoming concert, “Welcome to My World,” will showcase a different side of Jed, focusing on his vulnerability and personal stories. The singer emphasized the importance of connecting with the audience and sharing a new experience with them.

The repertoire for the concert will feature a mix of covers and originals, with mostly popular songs that resonate with the audience. Jed intends to use the performance as a platform to narrate his journey as an artist and human being, conveying emotions and experiences that many can relate to.

While there are no confirmed guest artists for the show, Jed remains open to the possibility of collaborators joining him on stage. He believes that being a storyteller is crucial for artists like him, as it adds depth and sincerity to their performances.
