By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 176, the celebration intensifies awareness on the need to conserve and protect fisheries and aquatic resources.
This year’s theme, “𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐡𝐢𝐧, 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐤𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐬𝐝𝐚, 𝐈𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧,” centers on the campaign that echoes the administration’s priority to achieve food self-sufficiency by increasing local production and providing affordable commodities.
The Fish Conservation Week is observed from 12 to1 16 September 2022.
