SEC Davao Extension Office (EO)’s Cindy Liboon and Jobert Cape on September 14 led a seminar on the reportorial requirements and usage of the SEC Electronic Filing and Submission Tool for DSWD-accredited non-stock corporations and foundations.
The event was held in partnership with DSWD Region XI, for the Orientation of the Newly Approved Guidelines on Area Based Standards Network (ABSNET) and the SEC Reportorial Requirements.
Last August 26, the DSWD Region XI and the SEC Davao EO signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on the SEC Communication, Advocacy, and Network initiative, or SEC CAN! The two national government agencies have agreed to cooperate through information dissemination and knowledge sharing on topics on the fundamentals of investing, financial literacy, investor protection, and investment scams, and updates on procedures on registration, reportorial requirements, and submission of reports.
