Activate your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to secure your account against fraud and scams.
MFA can be done by enabling:
✅ security questions
✅ biometric authentication via face ID or thumbprint
✅ one-time password (OTP), which will be sent to your registered cellphone number or email
Contact your bank or e-money provider immediately if your bank account, credit card, e-wallet, or personal information has been compromised. The Philippine National Police (PNP) or the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) may also be contacted to investigate and prosecute scammers.
If your bank or financial institution is not able to address your complaint, send a message to the BSP using the BSP Online Buddy (BOB) through the following:
- Click on the BOB icon on the BSP website (www.bsp.gov.ph)
- Chat on BSP Facebook Messenger (https://www.m.me/BangkoSentralngPilipinas/)
- If a Globe subscriber, text 21582277 (message and data charges apply)
