After thorough consideration, the Senate of the Philippines closed the period of interpellations and considered the proposed 2023 budget of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and its attached agencies as submitted and approved.
Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman thanked Committee on Finance Chair Senator Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara for sponsoring the FY 2023 General Appropriations Bill (GAB), as well as the budget of the DBM and the rest of the Economic Team.
The Budget Chief was joined by Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno, Bangko Sentral Governor Felipe Medalla, and Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan.
