PNPFI Donates P4.9m Equipment and Mountain Bikes to PNP

Thirty police units from different regions in the country received P4.9 million worth of office equipment and mountain bikes from Philippine National Police Foundation Incorporated (PNPFI).

PNPFI Chairman, PGEN PANFILO M LACSON (Ret.) duly represented by Architect Ka Kuen Chua, PNPFI Trustee led the turnover ceremony in Camp Crame on Monday morning.

Police Lieutenant General Rhodel O Sermonia, The Deputy Chief PNP for Administration received the 120 sets of Intel Core i5 11th Generation Desktop, 30 units EPSON Eco Tank L121 Ink Tank Printer, 38 units HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2777 with WIFI 3in1 Printer, and 17 units ACER Projector X1126AH 4000 ANSI Lumens.

Aside from office equipment, PNPFI also donated 20 units E.K Portable Public Address System with 2 wireless microphones, 5 units HiK CCTV with 4 channels and 60 units Sunspeed Mountain Bike.

While the security and welfare of the people rely upon the number of police officers deployed in the field, it must be coupled with good and reliable equipment to ensure the quality of police service being delivered to the community. Thus, this gesture strengthens the capacity of every police officer by upgrading their equipment for effective police operations, PLTGen Sermonia said.

PLtGen Sermonia extended his sincerest appreciation and gratitude to the PNP Foundation, Inc. and the Firstlight. “To the recipients of this equipment, I wish you would take care of it as if it is your own, so that it would last”, PLtGen Sermonia added.

“As we mobilize our police units in the field through the Kasimbayanan and our security framework MKK=K or the Malasakit, Kaayusan at Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran” to make the PNP into a stronger and responsive police organization, we also have to enhance the competence of our police officers by giving them the necessary equipment”, PLtGen Sermonia further added.

Coinciding the activity is the Giving of Christmas Packages from FirstLight led by Ms. Kim Henares, Former Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner. Two hundred female PNP personnel received Beauty Gift Sets (Body Mist, Lip Oil, and Face Cream) and PhP500.00 Gift Certificate of Rockos Chicken.
