PNPA: Honing Service-Oriented and Transformational Public Safety Leaders

Budget Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman was accorded the Arrival Honors by an all-female battalion-sized contingent during the flag raising ceremony of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) as part of their Distinguished Visitors Program held at Camp General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite on December 12, 2022.

The Budget Chief was warmly welcomed by Police Brigadier General Eric E. Noble, together with 1,200 cadets and more than 400 PNPA employees.

In her speech, she assured the PNPA that DBM is one with the institution’s mission of providing the best comprehensive education, training, and leadership development program for the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

Secretary Pangandaman also expressed the Department’s full support for the PNPA’s Cadetship Program in consonance with the thrust of the PNP, BFP, and BJMP, to develop professional, morally upright, and dedicated public safety officers imbued with the values of justice, integrity, and service.
