PNP Welcomes 29 Newly Promoted Generals

“As public servants, we are expected to put national interest and the citizenry above our own personal considerations, to be transparent in our actions, accountable for our decisions, and responsive to the concerns of the community”.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Rodolfo S Azurin Jr assures the public that all newly promoted officials are reminded of their commitment to the service as he formally inducted 29 Star Rank police officials during Oathtaking and Donning of Ranks Ceremony of Newly Promoted Star Ranks Officers in Camp Crame Quezon City on December 12 and 13, 2022.

Azurin enjoined all the newly promoted senior officers to work closely together and be united to make the PNP truly worthy and deserving of people’s trust and respect.

Promoted to 3-star rank is Police Lieutenant General Rhoderick C Armamento — Director, Area Police Command, Southern Luzon.

Eight police brigadier generals promoted to 2-star ranks were Police Major General Jon A Arnaldo, Director, Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD), Police Major General Bernard M Banac, Director, Directorate for Plans (DPL), Police Major General Emmanuel B Peralta, Director, Directorate for Operations (DO), Police Major General Mario A Reyes, Director, Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR), Police Major General Jonnel C Estomo, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Police Major General Ritchie Medardo A Posadas, Director, National Police Training Institute (NPTI), Police Major General Eric E Noble, Director, Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), and Police Major General Edgardo Allan O Okubo, Director, Special Action Force (SAF).

In addition, other 20 newly promoted Police Brigadier Generals who took their oath of office were, Police Brigadier General Antonio Olaguera, Legal Service (LS), Police Brigadier General Arcadio L Ronquillo Jr, Area Police Command-Southern Luzon (APC-SL), Police Brigadier General Reynaldo M Tamondong-Area Police Command -Northern Luzon (APC-NL), Police Brigadier General Christopher C Birung, Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), Police Brigadier General Roger L Quesada, Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD), Police Brigadier General Robert Alexander A Morico II, Directorate for Intelligence (DI), Police Brigadier General Anthony A Aberin, Aviation Security Group (AVSEG), Police Brigadier General Percival Augustus P Placer, PPDC Office of the Chief PNP, Police Brigadier General Nicolas S Salvador, Directorate for Plans (DPL), Police Brigadier General Rodolfo D Castil Jr, Director, Anti-Kidnaping Group (AKG), Police Brigadier General Ramil L Saculles, Office of the Directorial Staff (OTCDS), Police Brigadier General Mark D Pespes, Headquarters Support Service (HSS), Police Brigadier General Patrick Joseph G Allan, Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR), Police Brigadier General Roderick D Minong, Logistics Support Service (LSS), Police Brigadier General Jezebel D Medina, Health Service (HS), Police Brigadier General Neri Vincent D Ignacio, Directorate for Logistics (DL), Police Brigadier General Jaysen C De Guzman, Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), Police Brigadier General Wilson C Asueta, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Police Brigadier General Rizalito G Gapas, Deputy Director, Special Action Force (SAF) and Police Brigadier General Ponce Rogelio I Peňones Jr, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

I am counting on all of you to be of service in helping me propagate our peace and security framework “MKK=K” or “Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayaan tungo Sa Kaunlaran” and the “kasimbayanan program”, assuring that the PNP will remain steadfast towards the full realization of the government’s aspiration of a safer, peaceful, more progressive and stronger equitable society – in line with the development goals of President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr”, PGen Azurin added.
