DORMITORY FOR POLICE COMMISSIONED OFFICERS

PNP Unveils New Dormitory for Police Commissioned Officers

The Philippine National Police (PNP) in partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) formally inaugurated the newly-constructed Police Commissioned Officers Dormitory or Condominium Building No. 16, on April 17, 2023, in Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City.

The event was graced by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan of the DPWH, and PNP Chief, Police General Rodolfo S Azurin Jr.

The said construction is part of the DPWH Convergence Program called PNP-DPWH T.I.K.A.S. Program.

With a total cost of 100 million pesos from the DPWH GAA (FY) 2021 and a bid amount of 92.2 million pesos, the project started on September 3, 2021, and was declared completed on March 13, 2023.

The Condominium Building No. 16 is designed to accommodate qualified Police Commissioned Officers stationed in Camp Crame.

“This new facility will not only provide comfortable and safe housing for our dedicated police officers but will also improve their work-life balance and contribute to their overall well-being. We are grateful for the support of our partner agency, DPWH, in this project,” PGen Azurin said.

The construction of the Police Commissioned Officers Dormitory is one of the government’s efforts to enhance the living conditions of the police officers and their families, as well as to strengthen the morale and productivity of the police force. The PNP and DPWH continue to work together to provide better services and facilities to the Filipino people.
