PNP Fetes Newly Promoted Generals

The Philippine National Police (PNP) celebrated the promotion of its newly appointed two-star and one-star generals in a momentous occasion at Camp Crame, Quezon City.

Police Major General Harold Tuzon, Police Major General Viktor Wanchakan, and Police Major General Rudolph Dimas have been promoted to the rank of two-star generals. Meanwhile, Police Brigadier General Victor Arevalo, Police Brigadier General Lex Ephraim Gurat, Police Brigadier General Alfredo Dangani, Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas, Police Brigadier General Roderick Mariano, and Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan have been promoted to the rank of one-star generals.

In a statement, PNP Chief Police General Benjamin C Acorda, Jr. congratulated the newly promoted officers and their respective families on their remarkable achievement. He reminded them that their promotion is not just a symbol of their accomplishments but also a reflection of the trust and confidence the PNP has placed in them.

PNP Chief Acorda also gave his guidance to the newly promoted officers as they assume higher responsibilities. He urged them to prioritize the welfare and safety of the people, to continue learning and improving their skills, and to always stay true to the core values of service, honor, and justice.

Furthermore, he also emphasized the importance of “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa” to achieve the PNP’s Five Focused Agenda saying, “These are not just empty slogans, but rather concrete plans of actions that will help us achieve our vision of a safer and more secure Philippines. Thus, I urge you to embrace these agendas and make them part of your daily work.”

“The PNP is confident that through the trust and support of the people, we will be able to accomplish our mandated task with excellence. Let us continue to work towards earning and maintaining that trust by providing them with the best possible service.” PGen Acorda added.
