Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 63 s. 1992, the month of October is declared as the Local Government Month, the second week of October as the Local Government Week, and the 10th day of October as the Local Government Day.
This year marks the 31st anniversary of the enactment of the Local Government Code of 1991.
