Nationwide rain showers expected on warm Wednesday

Warm Weather and Isolated Rain Showers Expected Nationwide on Independence Day

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has reported that warm weather and isolated rain showers are expected nationwide on Wednesday, Independence Day. According to weather specialist Obet Badrina, the easterlies will bring warm temperatures, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Looking ahead, Badrina noted that the easterlies will continue to be the dominant weather system in the coming days, rather than the southwest monsoon or “habagat.” This means that isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail in most parts of the country.

Pagasa also reported that no storms are being monitored in or around the Philippine area of responsibility, as a low-pressure area off Agusan del Norte has dissipated. Additionally, no gale warning is in effect over any of the country’s seaboards.

Overall, Filipinos can expect a warm Independence Day with the possibility of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
