Delegates from Local Social Welfare and Development Offices in Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon provinces undergo learning sessions and writeshop for the updating of their Manual of Operations (MOO).
The MOO consists of policies and guidelines of LSWDO programs and services in the LGU. Its development is critical to determine the level of functionality and extent of compliance to set standards.
Resource person Mr. Eval Makinano, Planning Officer III of DSWD Field Office Caraga has provided the vital information and basic skillset needed to come up with the updated MOO.
The activity ends on Friday covering the remaining LGU participants (Batch 2) from Camiguin, Misamis Occidental and Lanao del Norte. The capacity building is part of DSWD Field Office X’s Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation Program.
