Kitchie Nadal expresses gratitude for support from youthful music enthusiasts

Kitchie Nadal, who is now a mother of two and married to a Spanish journalist, has consciously shifted her music to be more positive and light compared to her rock-influenced hits in the early 2000s. At a recent press conference for her upcoming concert in Manila, Kitchie expressed her desire for her songs to be more optimistic and relatable to her audience, especially now that she is a mom and a wife.

Surprisingly, Kitchie’s earlier songs still resonate with the new generation and have caught the attention of social media and digital platforms. Fans who were still in grade school when her songs came out have approached her, expressing their fandom and appreciation for her music.

In celebration of her 20th anniversary in the music scene, Kitchie will headline a solo concert titled “SAME GROUND: Kitchie Nadal’s 20th Anniversary Concert” on June 2 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. The concert will not only be a nostalgic trip for fans but also a way for Kitchie to express gratitude to her supporters.

Joining Kitchie at her concert are Barbie Almalbis, Aia de Leon, Lougee Basabas, Hannah Romawac, Acel Bisa, Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise, and other artists. The event is presented by Big Brew and Rolling Gum, in partnership with GNN Entertainment Productions, and supported by various sponsors.

Despite stepping back from the music industry to focus on her family, Kitchie still enjoys creating music and collaborating with other artists. She misses the interaction she had with fellow musicians during her active days in the music scene but finds joy in sharing her passion with others.

Tickets for “SAME GROUND: Kitchie Nadal’s 20th Anniversary Concert” are available at all Ticketnet outlets nationwide and through their website.
