A man was shot and killed near the southbound portion of the EDSA-Ayala tunnel in Makati yesterday afternoon. The victim, estimated to be 45 to 50 years old, was driving a white Toyota Innova when an unidentified suspect in a black Mercedes Benz sedan opened fire. Police suspect a road rage incident may have triggered the shooting, as witnesses reported an altercation between the two vehicles prior to the gunfire. The victim had a woman and a baby in the car, who sought help from a passing motorcycle rider. The woman claimed that the driver of the Mercedes Benz shot at the victim after a dispute on the road. The shooting caused the white vehicle to crash into the tunnel walls and some motorcycles, temporarily halting traffic in the area.
