DPWH Completes New Police Station in Pangasinan

In an effort to support the government’s goal of improving public service delivery, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of a new Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary for Luzon Operations Eugenio R. Pipo Jr., DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel M. Tan said that the three (3)-storey MPS Building was constructed under the Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) Convergence Program of the DPWH and Philippine National Police (PNP).

The new Mangaldan Municipal Police Station is equipped with office rooms with adequate lighting and ventilation for PNP personnel, as well as CCTV cameras and parking space for officers and stakeholders.

“DPWH is one with the PNP in enhancing public service facilities that aims to boost the morale of our uniformed personnel who play an indispensable role in maintaining peace and order in Pangasinan,” said Director Tan.

The project is built with a total cost of P14.5-million funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
