The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently completed and turned-over to the University of the Philippines a new Varsity Training Center inside the UP-Diliman Campus in Quezon City.
DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan said that the new UP Varsity Training Center was constructed with a total floor area of 1879.42 square meters.
“This is a state-of-the-art, research-intensive facility offering a wide range of resources to help UP student athletes reach their full potential,” said Director Malaluan.
The new UP Varsity Training Center has a basketball court, and gym with equipment, as well as dedicated spaces for team practices and meetings.
Implemented by the DPWH Quezon City 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO), the facility was constructed in three (3) phases since 2019.
