Department of Health Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire, together with FICT Undersecretary Dr. Abdullah Dumama Jr, today met with BARMM Minister of Healty Dr. Rizaldy Piang to discuss ways to strengthen partnerships to ensure delivery of quality healthcare services in the region.
During the meeting, the MOH-BARMM raised some concerns such as the need to have capacity-building and alignment directions with the DOH, support for worship-friendly hospitals, possible addition of prophetic medicine in alternative and complementary healthcare, and support gor the upgrading of hospitals in BARMM.
“Nagagalak ang DOH Central Office sa pagkakatalaga ng ating bagong BARMM Minister of Health. Asahan po ninyong patuloy na aagapay ang Central Office sa mga pangangailangang pangkalusugan ng ating mga kababayan sa BARMM dahil sa Universal Health Care, lahat ng Juan at Juana ay kasama para sa isang Healthy Pilipinas,” said Dr. Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire.
