KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE – To reorganize policies and identify priorities of the new administration of the Municipality of Kapatagan, DILG Lanao del Norte, thru MLGOO Vivian A. Cañete, facilitated the Conduct of Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting of the municipality at Kapatagan Municipal Hall.
In preparation for the annual budget 2023, MLGOO Cañete suggested to formulate the POPS Plan 2023-2025 ahead to be approved by the MPOC and to be adopted by the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) for funding allocation.
Prioritization of program projects and activities (PPAs) were also categorized during the activity such as to incorporate plans in intensifying peace and order implementation, enhance support to the surrendered former rebels (FRs), and establish strategies to continue the effectiveness of LCAT-VAWC and Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) in the municipality.
The meeting was participated by the PNP, PA, BFP, and supported by the committee members of peace and order of the sanggunian, along with both municipal and barangay functionaries.
