In an effort to establish lasting community-wide peace and order, the Department of the Interior and Local Government 10 takes part in the National Training of Trainers for the National Barangay Operations Office’s Barangay Tanod Skills Enhancement (BTSE) Project from September 6 to September 9, 2022.
The four-day training seeks to equip the instructors with the necessary information and expertise to adequately inform and empower the future participants of the roll-out training. The topics discussed were divided into 4 modules, namely:
1. The Profile of a Barangay Tanod
2. Gender-Sensitive, Child-Friendly, and Culture-Sensitive Barangay Tanod
3. First Responder’s Role
4. Operations
Agencies encouraged to engage in the aforementioned activity are representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP)-10, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-10, and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR)-10. (𝘋𝘐𝘓𝘎 𝘓𝘎𝘔𝘌𝘋/ 𝘈.𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢)
