In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel M. Tan said that aside from the construction of dikes, the project also involved rehabilitation of the riverbanks of Amburayan River.

A total of P48.02-million was allocated for the rehabilitation of the riverbank and construction of a 5-meter high dike spanning 409 meters in Barangay Mindoro.

In Barangays Consuegra and Alzate, DPWH La Union First District Engineering Office also implemented the construction of a P403-meter concrete revetment structure amounting to P49-million.

Both projects were funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA) and were completed within two (2) months.
